Orthodontic Information
18 week waits is being implemented from April 2010. Orthodontic practices in mid Essex are validating their patient lists. Patients that are "under review" ie not yet ready for treatment - are being referred back to their GDP (General Dental Practitioner) and will be referred directly back into the service once they are ready for treatment. An information leaflet is currently being prepared and will be available in the near future. This leaflet will be available both in hard copy and electronically.
